Seasonal Telephonist

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual to join our Front of House team.   We require confident employees with outgoing and friendly personalities who are willing to go over and above the expectations of our Members to provide first class service.

We require candidates with exceptional customer service and organisational skills who are flexible and have the ability to work well under pressure during the busy season and be able to demonstrate excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Hours: Part Time; working a rolling Rota of 3 days on 3 days off, 10am – 4.30pm

Contract: Seasonal 1st June until 31st October 2024

Pay: £12.00 per hour

  • To ensure the smooth, professional operation of the switchboard within Loch Lomond Golf Club at all times, including handling incoming, outgoing and internal telephone calls in a polite, efficient and professional manner
  • To assist receptionist at the front desk during busy times and on occasion covering reception shifts where necessary.
  • Assist with any administrative duties for the Front of House and other departments when necessary.
  • To provide a warm, friendly welcome to all members, guests and visitors ensuring that the highest standards of customer care are always delivered.
  • To maintain excellent levels of communication between the Front of House team and all other departments within Loch Lomond Golf Club.


  • Previous experience in a telephonist/reception role would be advantageous.
  • You must be able to demonstrate your commitment to providing excellent customer care and have organisational skills.
  • You must be able to work well under pressure and still provide a first-class service.
  • You must be able to drive and have the means of getting to and from Loch Lomond Golf Club without using public transport due to our rural location.
  • You must be computer literate and competent when using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
  • You will have a polite and confident telephone manner with the ability to anticipate members and guests needs and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • You must have the right to live and work in the UK
