As part of our team, you will look after a discerning membership spanning over 30 countries world-wide.
Hours per week: Variety of shifts available ranging from 6am-12pm, 1pm- 10pm, 4pm-11pm, may vary due to business demands. Flexible for the successful candidate
Duties include:
- Ensuring that the kitchen and lounge area is stocked and ready in advance of the groups arrival as per BEO fact sheet.
- Arrange full set up for all dining requirements as per BEO instructions including breakfast, lunch, dinner, BBQ, or bespoke dining requests. Ensuring that all menus are correct for each dining experience.
- Coordinate and provide the food service from kitchen to table ensuring exceptional and consistent level of food service.
- Carry out full clear down after every dining service including ensuring that lounge and kitchen area is clean and presentable and re set.
- Provide after dinner drink service to guests where applicable.
- Before departure from shift ensure that all Health and Safety checks have been completed and signed off as per SOP’s.
- Ensure that Member/Guests are notified of your departure and that any last-minute requirements are fulfilled before departure.
- Be able to place correct charges onto members bills and complete appropriate paperwork required
- Ensuring that billing is accurate and up to date per any billing instructions
- Ensure that the Night Manager is aware of your departure from the property.
- Ensuring service standard, member expectations and consistency within Colquhoun Lodge are maintained
- Ensuring regular stocktaking of all Perishable items and Beverages
- Meet and greet members in a prompt, polite and courteous manner.
- Ensure effective time management within your working shift hours in relation to business requirements.
- Effective communication and flexibility with line management with regards to working hours and business requirements
- Attend regular training and development sessions set out by line management
- Maintain personal time keeping, appearance and hygiene throughout employment.
- To adhere to all rules, regulations and standards under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2020
- Due to the nature of our business the flexibility of our staff is vital to the success of the Club and there will be occasion where you will be asked to work outside your designated department.
- Ensure that you use the clubs time and Attendance system alongside your working hours.
Role Requirements:
- Have previous experience of providing a high level of service and standards consistent with expected standards within a Fine Dining environment.
- A driving license is essential, and candidates must be able to get to and from the club using their own transport.
- The right to live and work in the UK is essential.
