Food and Beverage Assistant – Colquhoun Lodge

Our Colquhoun Lodge, booked for private events, catering up to 20 people, is looking for a passionate, hard-working individual to help make a difference to our Members staying with us.

Contract: Seasonal (May 2024 until January 2025)

Pay: £12.00ph

Hours: 16 -20 hours/week

Shifts: Variety of shifts available ranging from 6am-12pm, 1pm- 10pm, 4pm-11pm, may vary due to business demands. Flexible for the successful candidate

Duties include:

  • Welcoming all Guests to the lodge and ensuring the group are aware of all facilities available to them.
  • Coordinating and provide the food service from kitchen to table ensuring exceptional and consistent level of food service.
  • Ensuring that the kitchen and lounge area is stocked and ready in advance of the group’s arrival as per BEO fact sheet.
  • Arranging full set up for all dining requirements as per BEO instructions including breakfast, lunch, dinner, BBQ, or bespoke dining requests.
  • Carrying out full clear down after every dining service including ensuring that lounge and kitchen area is clean and presentable and re set.

The Person should have:

  • Good time management skills with a ‘can do’ attitude, as the role will involve working within a very small team
  • Food & Beverage service and wine experience is preferrable but not essential as training will be provided
  • The ability to be organised with a hands-on approach as well as have the confidence to deal with the demands of a high- profile clientele.
  • Immaculate presentation, outgoing personality, excellent communication and customer service skills as required for this highly visible role

Essential Requirements

  • A driving license is essential, and candidates must be able to get to and from the club using their own transport.
  • The right to live and work in the UK
