As part of our team, you will look after a discerning membership spanning over 30 countries world-wide.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Country Pursuits Assistant to join our team, reporting to CP and Fitness Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the Country Pursuits function to enable the company to provide alternative services to members and guests. These services will include all aspects of Country Pursuits. Services will include Live Shooting, Clay Pigeon Shooting, and Fly Fishing on ponds and Rivers, Hill Walking, Mountain Biking and various bespoke activities provided by the club or third parties including but not limited to Archery and Falconry. If you are passionate about providing exceptional service and looking for enjoyable, fun and mostly outdoor work, Loch Lomond Golf Club is for you.

 

The main activities you will be involved in preparation/set up of and assisting in are:

  • Clay Pigeon shooting
  • Hill Walking in local area and surrounding hills – individual and group
  • Fly fishing and other types of fishing
  • Cycling and bicycle maintenance
  • Water based sports such as kayaking and paddle boarding
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment

Here is what we are looking for:

  • A fit and enthusiastic person with a “can do” and flexible attitude to their work
  • A confident and outgoing personality with the ability to engage with individuals and groups
  • Someone who enjoys the great outdoors in all conditions
  • Someone who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Knowledge and experience of the below outdoor activities would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
  • First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential
  • A current UK driving license is essential
  • The right to live and work in the UK is also essential
