We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Spikes Bar Manager to join Our Club as a key member of our Hospitality Team.  The ideal candidate in this position must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, maintaining a courteous demeanour with our members and guests while motivating, encouraging, and cultivating a strong team. Leadership and personnel management skills should always be accompanied by a customer service focus and commitment to Club values and image.

Responsibilities

  • To work closely with the Spikes Bar Manager and liaise effectively and efficiently with other departments to ensure a high level of service to members and guests at all times.
  • Assistant manager must ensure the bar operates smoothly, with sufficient stock and staff at all times.
  • To be actively involved in the recruitment, training, and development of new/existing staff to the highest standard, motivating them to continually strive for excellence.
  • To be forward thinking and help develop the level of service provided for our members and guests, for example attention to detail, speed of service etc.
  • To build and develop relationships with Members and work closely with the team on Member Recognition.
  • Continually review member and guest feedback, plan and implement action to always improve and ensure exceptional service.
  • Ensure that all areas of responsibility are run in a safe, orderly, and disciplined manner in accordance with the conditions of all statutory licenses and Health & Safety requirements.

The person we are looking for has:

  • Significant work experience & knowledge in Food and Beverage Service at supervisory level or above
  • Desire and drive for excellence and a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Strong leadership skills and a desire to develop and grow a team.
  • A friendly, approachable nature and works well within a close nit team.
  • A current UK driving license (preferable)
  • Basic IT skills and experience using hospitality software
  • The right to live and work in the UK (essential)
