The Golf Course and Grounds Dept is a major key element of the business. Our dedicated golf course and estates team manage a world-famous championship golf course consistently ranked in the UK’s top 10 and worlds top 100 best golf courses. We also manage the stunning flora, fauna and grounds around Rossdhu House and other lodges spread across the estate, the majestic trees, the Victorian walled gardens and glasshouse which was restored in 2007.

Works include maintaining the greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, native areas, trees and woodlands, ponds and burns, paths and roads, sites of scientific interest and conservation areas. The department consists of one administrator, three mechanics, 15 full time greens staff, three full time horticultural gardeners and 10 seasonal staff to assist with additional duties during the golf season.
