The successful candidate will support and develop all IT Systems in conjunction with the Head of IT. They will have a strong desire for continuous learning through self-development and be motivated to always achieve the best results. They will be able to work effectively under pressure and manage their workload well to meet the high demands of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities: -

  • All user and desktop support including Office 365
  • Continual review and development of the IT infrastructure to ensure it meets business needs
  • Ensure all systems meet the requirements of PCI Compliance and GDPR
  • Server infrastructure management and development using Microsoft Hyper V.
  • Server support including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, SQL
  • Application support of all in-house systems
  • Network and server monitoring
  • Network development and support including LAN, Leased lines, firewall configuration and VPN
  • To develop and enhance the use of IT systems to improve efficiency. This includes:
  • Investigating current business processes
  • Developing and recommending new processes
  • Testing and documenting new processes
  • Rollout and training.
  • Manage all backups using Arcserve UDP
  • Develop reports using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services
  • Monitor and Roll out Windows Updates to all PC’s, laptops and servers using WSUS
  • Work alongside the Head of IT to develop resilient and secure IT systems
  • Firewall configuration and administration including setting web filtering policy
  • Maintain departmental documentation

Qualifications and Experience: -

Essential:

  • Degree or equivalent in IT
  • Windows 7,10 and Office 2013, 2016 support
  • Microsoft Hyper V
  • Microsoft Server 2008 R2, 2012
  • SQL Server 2008, 2012
  • Network configuration and management
  • Firewall configuration and management
  • Active Directory

Desirable:

  • MCSA
  • CCNA
  • Office 365 including SharePoint
  • PCI Compliance
  • GDPR
  • Windows Update Services
  • Server and Network security
  • VPN and WAN Management
  • Phone System Support

You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have the means of getting to and from Loch Lomond Golf Club without using public transport due to our rural location. The right to live and work in the UK is essential.
