A member of staff at Loch Lomond for 2 years
I arrived here in February 2007 and, having worked at some of the best golf venues in the world I consider this one of the finest Clubs in the world. It is great to be part of a team who always go the extra mile and, with such a low turnover in staff, it is safe to say that Loch Lomond is a good place to work. As a Southerner working within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, I count myself very lucky. I occasionally mis-pronounce some of the Scottish phrases and my team is only too happy to remind me of this on a regular basis!
I am involved with this Club on every level – I can start the day by chatting with one of our Members at breakfast, followed by meeting with my Senior Management Team and finish off by attending a dinner with our caddies. One of our Members described Loch Lomond as, “Half an hour from Glasgow, and half an inch from heaven,” and I concur with that.
