A member of staff at Loch Lomond for 5 years
I help look after the Golf Operations department a Loch Lomond. It’s a very varied job where I am responsible for everything from retail reporting to golf events.
We even arranged a golf event for Colin Montgomerie’s wedding. Seventy-two people took part, and there was a shotgun start, food and drinks served on the course, and a presentation and prize-giving at the end. I stood on the 8th tee with Colin, as he played the hole with each of his guests. It was good fun: I got to chat to Colin and make sure everything went smoothly.
I love working at Loch Lomond Golf Club, and I feel part of something very special. It’s great when you see the reaction of members coming off the course. They’re so chuffed, and they just want to tell you all about their round of golf.
