I’m just about to start my third season with Loch Lomond Golf Club. In April 2007 I had recently got back from traveling the world when I took a job as a barman and waiter in the Spike’s Bar. After seven months I was promoted to Supervisor. So far I’ve learnt so much, with courses in Management and Wines & Spirits.
My favourite thing about my job is meeting the members. At first it can be a bit daunting as some are major sports personalities, but you get used to it. The Barclay’s Scottish Open is one of the best things about working at Loch Lomond. Preparing for it is very exciting, and there are lots of famous golfers and celebrity faces there.
